ASSIA Teams with Leading DSL Semiconductor and Equipment Manufacturers to Accelerate Deployment of Dynamic Spectrum Management
Redwood City, Calif. - January 16, 2007 - ASSIA™ Inc., the world’s leading provider of Dynamic Spectrum Management (DSM) solutions announced today its collaboration with a number of leading DSL semiconductor and equipment manufacturers via the license of ASSIA’s RAPIDE℠ and CHORALE℠ DSM software interfaces. Licensees include Aktino Inc., Conexant Systems, Inc., Ikanos Communications, Inc., and UpZide Labs, AB, plus one other undisclosed company. The close collaboration with ASSIA will facilitate the deployment of Dynamic Spectrum Management with DSL operators worldwide and will deliver higher levels of DSL network performance. ASSIA’s DSL EXPRESSE™ is currently under trial at numerous DSL Operating Companies around the world.

The RAPIDE management interface enables ATIS DSM compliance for DSL Equipment and Integrated Circuits. Deployment of such RAPIDE compliant equipment enhances DSL service provider’s Dynamic Spectrum Management capability.
